Thinking about the final project:


How could digital media and/or digital tools be used in teaching your target audience about history and historical thinking? 

Digital media and/or digital tools can be used for teaching history by sharing the historical content and relevant information about the 2017 International Women’s March. It can also be useful in showing historical time and place by utilizing visual timelines and images from the march. 

What, specifically, about the digital component of your activity will influence what you do and why? 

The digital component will influence my final project on the 2017 International Women’s March based on how to best organize the narrative. I am still thinking about this. 

How does this change or shape your final project pitch?

It is shaping my ideas about my final project in regards to how to best organize the information, and in thinking about what is important to include. Its also made me think about how to best incorporate procedural aspects of historical thinking into my final project. I am thinking about how to best incorporate discussion board posts, or ways of asking open ended questions to generate discussion and debate about the March.
