Prelinger Archives, a collection of films, is found on the not for profit website, Internet Archive. The Internet Archive site was created as a free platform for teachers, scholars, researches and the general public to preserve and provide access to archival materials. The Prelinger Archives were created by Rick Prelinger in 1983, in order to share his thousands of films through digitization. His archived films include those used in advertisements, industrial films, educational films, and home movies.
